Trainee Outbound BDR / SDR (B2B AI Consultancy & Services)

At Softcery we're looking for a Trainee Outbound BDR / SDR (B2B AI Consultancy & Services) to join our team.
Full-time · Lviv or Remote

Softcery builds advanced AI systems for B2B SaaS companies. We partner with founders in the US and UK to design, build, and scale production-ready AI solutions that solve real business challenges. Our team focuses on complex AI engineering — systems that are technically robust, business-aligned, and built to scale. We combine deep technical expertise with strong product thinking, helping companies move from AI ambition to real, production impact.

Right now, we rely on our network and referrals. It works, but it limits growth. We need someone to help us build a working outbound lead generation channel from scratch.

This is a trainee role — you'll learn by doing. We'll guide you, give context and feedback, but you'll need to take ownership of execution and be ready to test, learn, and improve.

What You’ll Do:

  • Research and identify potential B2B companies that might need AI implementation or custom development.

  • Reach out to potential clients via email, LinkedIn, and other channels

  • Lead qualification — assess fit, context, and readiness before passing qualified leads further in the pipeline.

  • Early-stage communication — initiate and manage first conversations with potential clients, clearly communicating Softcery’s value.

  • Process inbound leads from Upwork and our website.

  • CRM ownership — maintain accurate CRM records (Attio): statuses, notes, next steps, and follow-ups.

  • Work with our Marketing Specialist on messaging and targeting — test different outreach approaches and learn what works.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 0-6+ year of experience in an SDR / BDR / Lead Generation role in an IT company.

  • Basic understanding of B2B sales or strong willingness to learn.

  • Self-motivated with a "figure it out" attitude, with comfort operating in evolving processes.

  • Data and result-oriented approach to outreach.

  • Ability to quickly understand technical services and translate them into clear value.

  • Comfortable starting conversations with people you don't know.

  • Good with organizing information and tracking results.

  • Strong written and spoken English (B2+/C1) — you'll be writing to US/UK founders and decision-makers.

Would be a plus:

  •  Experience with US/UK markets.

  •  Experience using CRM or sales tools.
