Account Manager
Softcery is a small, focused team building AI-driven B2B software solutions. We work closely with clients in the US and UK to launch AI voice agents and develop custom B2B platforms. Most of our work involves advanced R&D and complex problem-solving.
We’re looking for an Account Manager to own client relationships beyond project delivery. Right now, our Project Leads handle everything — delivery, renewals, upsells, and commercial talks — which isn’t sustainable. You’ll take over the relationship side so they can focus on execution.
As we grow, this role will also support new business development — identifying prospects similar to our most successful clients, providing referrals and case studies, and helping qualify leads based on your deep understanding of what makes client relationships successful.
🎯 What You'll Do:
Own relationships with key accounts – be the strategic point of contact for business conversations — from delivery feedback to long-term planning.
Drive renewals & expansions – proactively manage contract renewals and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
Ensure delivery quality – stay close to our Project Leads to monitor client satisfaction and catch issues before they escalate.
Handle commercial & strategic conversations – take on pricing, scoping, and relationship management — so our tech team can stay focused on delivery.
Understand our solutions – communicate confidently about AI, custom development, and technical constraints with startup founders and execs.
Collaborate with Sales – partner with our Sales Manager to identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and provide feedback on what types of clients succeed with our solutions.
Develop account management processes – help us build systematic approaches to client success, retention tracking, and expansion identification.
⭐ What We're Looking For:
3+ years in account management or client success – ideally in B2B software services, consulting, or custom development. Consultancy environment strongly preferred.
Strong commercial acumen – you're confident with pricing discussions, contracts, and spotting upsell opportunities.
Excellent communication in English (С1+) — both verbal and written. You’ll be leading conversations with US/UK startup founders.
Technical curiosity – you don’t need to code, but you do need to understand AI-driven products and how custom development projects work.
Proactive relationship management – ability to identify problems before clients complain and find growth opportunities before clients ask.
Experience with complex, custom work – you understand consulting dynamics, project-based billing, and managing evolving expectations.
